In this assembly of suppositions reason has been omitted from the ingredients of Truth. It is a magical theatre where objects are free to experiment extravagant roles that are generally denied them in our rational world.

As the value of things are best measured against their antipodes (the shadow that throws up the light), so it is with fact and fiction. The Hypothetical Museum, as a small yet integral component of the Fragmented Museum, serves this purpose.

A multitude of possibilities inhabit the mysterious past of all things. With the Hypothetical Museum, I endeavour to explore this secret past, to extract the inconceivable, to investigate enigmas and advance hypotheses.

Incertitude is an open door towards all eventualities. It is enough to propose one in spite of all that is reasonable with, as my only alibi, the improbable.
